Planning a bachelorette party

From thrifty to more expensive, here are ideas for a fabulous and fun bachelorette party!

The bachelorette party is one of the most fun times you’ll have with your bridesmaids. The party is a great time to relax and unwind after preparing so long for your wedding day. The party is designed to be a last fling with your girlfriends. There are so many different fun ideas for planning your bachelorette party. The night doesn’t need to be expensive – there are plenty of great ideas that don’t cost a lot of money. Take into consideration the budget and plan your party accordingly. Traditionally the bachelorette party is planned by the maid of honour but today it’s really a group effort in choosing the best plan. Ideas range from expensive to thrifty.

The Last Single Trip

This is a trip to a wonderful weekend getaway – preferably to a place like Las Vegas. If Vegas isn’t in your budget you can choose a more affordable destination.  If you live near a big city consider simply renting a room or a group of rooms at a big downtown hotel. You can walk to clubs and bars and then come back to the room for a slumber party.

The Clubbing Party

Rent a stretch limo and cruise to some of the best clubs in town. Be sure that the limo is stocked with beverages of your choice. The limo will be able to drop you off at various destinations and take you home at the end of the evening. A night of dancing is a great way to say goodbye to the single life.

Rent a Beach House

If you live close to a beach consider having a fantastic beach house weekend. Rent a house for one or two nights. Stock it with food and drinks for the weekend. Everyone can go to the local club at night and then relax on the beach the next day. Bring plenty of sunscreen so you don’t get burned before your wedding.

The Theme Party

Turn your home into a tropical paradise, a gambling casino, or a Hollywood club. Set up a bar area where everyone can make their own custom martinis or provide a huge punch bowl. Provide a great music selection and serve appetizers throughout the night. You can even have a sleepover if you like. Prepare some amusing games that you can play.

The Romantic Movie Marathon

Host a fun night of romantic movies in keeping with the wedding theme. Choose plenty of movies to be able to keep them playing all evening or ask each guest to bring her own favourite. Provide drinks and popcorn along with other movie-type snacks. This is a wonderful low-key option for those who aren’t into clubbing.
